Michael L. Teeter
Michael L. Teeter graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S in Kinesiology. While attending the University of Michigan (1986-1989) Teeter was a four-time letter winner and became a standout nose tackle for the Wolverines. During his four years at U of M the Wolverines went on to win three Big Ten Championships and three Rose Bowl berths. Teeter went on to play 6 years in the NFL for a number of teams including the Minnesota Vikings and the Houston Oilers. After retiring from the NFL in 1996 he became the Defensive Line Coach for Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Teeter demonstrates his continued passion for competition, leadership and team work by speaking and working with different teams and organizations.
Teeter obtained his real estate license in 1998. In 2000, Teeter joined a local commercial real estate and development company and quickly became their top sales agent. In 2004 Teeter and David Ten Cate co-founded Capstone Real Estate. Teeter is a Member of the West Michigan Association of Realtors, the Michigan Association of Realtors, The National Association of Realtors, and is currently pursuing the CCIM designation.
Teeter has served on various boards and committees within the West Michigan area and is dedicated to the community in which he lives. Teeter lives in Fruitport with his wife Kim and their three children.
